Firstly, the customer, a French insurance company, wanted to identify under-occupied areas, and then define action plans to optimize floor space without adversely affecting employees' quality of life in their working environment.
Occupancy sensors & space reservation
On an initial perimeter of 25,000 m², the customer selected several sensors (workstation, meeting room, counting barrier), with the aim of understanding flows and actual use of spaces.
At the same time, we linked up with its room reservation system to make daily life easier for employees, saving them a lot of time by not having to search for vacant spaces to work or meet.
Implementation in record time!
Only five weeks after the order was placed, the customer was pleased to note that the 3,000 sensors and all Wx Solutions services were operational.
One month after commissioning, the real estate team was able to optimize floor space by grouping new teams in the same building without renting additional floors.
Strengthening collaboration
As a result, the customer's teams have gained in efficiency: it's now easier for them to work together.
On the strength of these results, a new 20,000 m² building was entrusted to Wx Solutions.
